I love the word

If I have a daughter I'd like to call her that but feel I'd be putting the weight of the world on her shoulders. And being a giant with feet the size of a car will already be enough to contend with.
For some, it's an uplifting word but I find it melancholic.

ReplyDeleteCan you imagine how her teacher would feel at school when she, after being really attentive, hand-in-air, me me me, handed in really shoddy homework was consistently reminded that despite deserving a 'see me' felt obliged, on account of her nomiker to give her a gold star?
actually, might be a good tactic.
but later down the line, with men.....the whole kiss at the door, no sex on first date thing might not be so convincing if you're called 'hope'.
